2.1 Data you provide directly
- Identification data: first name, last name, professional title, company name
- Contact data: email address, telephone number, postal address (where applicable)
- Professional data: industry, role, country of activity
- Billing data: VAT number, billing address, payment method (processed by our payment provider — see Section 5)
- Content of communications: messages sent through the contact form, email exchanges, and direct messages
- Documents submitted: contracts and related documents submitted in the context of the pre-session scan or Private Strategy engagements
2.2 Data collected automatically
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, time zone, referring URL
- Usage data: pages visited, time spent on each page, links clicked
These data are collected through cookies and similar technologies — see Section 7.
2.3 No special categories of data
We do not knowingly collect special categories of personal data within the meaning of Article 9 GDPR (e.g., data revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, health data). If such data are inadvertently shared (for example in a contract submitted for review), they will be processed only insofar as necessary for the delivery of the Service and protected with the utmost care.

- Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission;
- Where required, additional supplementary measures.

8. Payment data
When you pay for a Service by card, your payment data (card number, expiration date, CVV) are entered directly on a secure page hosted by Stripe, Inc. Akowe does not collect, store, or process your card data at any point.
Stripe acts as an independent data controller for the processing of card data and complies with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Stripe's privacy policy is available at https://stripe.com/privacy.
For payments by SEPA bank transfer, your bank details are processed by Akowe solely for the purpose of issuing the invoice and verifying receipt of payment, and are stored within Odoo (Belgium) for the duration required by Belgian accounting law.
9. Confidentiality of submitted contracts
Contracts and confidential documents submitted by clients in the context of the Services are subject to a strict contractual confidentiality undertaking, as set out in Article 8 of the Terms and Conditions. Such documents:
- Are accessed only by Ronke Olaye and any duly bound collaborator strictly required for the delivery of the Service;
- Are stored in a secure environment with access restrictions;
- Are retained for a maximum of three (3) years following the end of the engagement, unless the Client requests earlier destruction in writing or unless retention is required by law.
10. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right of access (Art. 15): obtain confirmation that we process your data and a copy of those data
- Right to rectification (Art. 16): request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Right to erasure (Art. 17): request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten"), subject to legal retention obligations
- Right to restriction (Art. 18): request that we limit the processing of your data
- Right to portability (Art. 20): receive your data in a structured, commonly used format and transmit them to another controller
- Right to object (Art. 21): object to processing based on legitimate interest or for direct marketing purposes
- Right to withdraw consent (Art. 7): where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal

We will respond within one (1) month of receipt of your request, in accordance with Article 12 GDPR. This period may be extended by two further months where necessary, taking into account the complexity and number of requests.

12. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, accidental loss, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, regular software updates, and confidentiality obligations imposed on all persons accessing the data.
In the unlikely event of a personal data breach likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify the Data Protection Authority within 72 hours and, where applicable, inform you without undue delay, in accordance with Articles 33 and 34 GDPR.
